How do I access my website database in Plesk?

By Windy Hosting • April 21, 2026

To access your website database in Plesk, log in to Plesk and open Websites & Domains > Databases. From there, use the database access link shown for your database type, such as phpMyAdmin for MySQL or MariaDB databases, or pgMyAdmin for PostgreSQL databases.

In most cases, Plesk uses the database user details already linked to that database when opening the tool. If you are using a local database client instead, you may need the database name, database username, password, and server details.

To connect to your database externally, see this post.

Good to Know: If the database access link is missing in Plesk, contact our support team.
