How do I manage my DNS records in Plesk?

By Windy Hosting • April 23, 2026

To manage your DNS records in Plesk, log in to Plesk and open Websites & Domains > DNS Settings for the domain. There you can view the current DNS records, add a new record, edit an existing one, or remove a record you no longer need.

Be careful when making DNS changes, because some records are required for the domain to work properly. For example, removing the main A record can stop the domain from opening correctly. If needed, Plesk also gives you the option to reset the DNS zone back to its default records.

Good to Know: Resetting DNS to default will remove any custom DNS records you added, so make sure you no longer need them before using that option.
